The Dever Society's Annual General Meeting will be held at 7:30pm on Monday 28th January 2008 in the Warren Hall, Micheldever Station.  The hall is opposite the Dove Inn, just across the road from the railway station itself.

After the formal business our vice-chairman, Tessa Robertson, will give a quick update on the Society's campaign since our public meeting on 11 December.

Steve Tilbury, Head of Operations at Winchester City Council, will then talk about the latest position with Eagle Star's proposals, and explain the reasons why the Council opposes a new town at Micheldever Station.  The Council has produced several excellent submissions, and has written to Communities Secretary Hazel Blears setting out its opposition to Eagle Star's plans.
